DON’T BE AFRAID – To Adjust Your Sails & Change Course! (Part 2 of a 3 post series)

Yesterday I talked about changing directions.  Making sure the road you are traveling is really the road you want to travel and changing directions if it is not.

This little workshop / clubhouse is one area of my life where I changed directions.  That one decision was the catalyst that has led to additional changes in my life and for my family that are still ongoing.  Simply because I made the decision to change course on one particular item I have changed courses on several others as well.  I had no idea that would happen but it did.  Then again, God multiplies our efforts for His kingdom and I am indeed “for His kingdom”.

I took one aspect of my life, a cluttered portable metal shed, that had gotten out of control with “Stuff” and I pruned it.  I pruned it down to the floor and walls!  What grew back was a clubhouse.  It was so refreshing and productive that the only logical question to ask myself was……what else can I prune?!  Then I started cutting.  Changing directions.

Don’t be afraid to change directions.  Ask yourself, is where you are going and what you are doing best for you and the people around you?  If something isn’t adding to your life then it is taking away from your life.  Prune it and see what grows back in its place.  Don’t be afraid, just do it.
