Life is hectic. We all got that memo.
Since life is indeed hectic it is important to find some silence. Somewhere. Often. Preferably daily.
Even more preferably first thing each morning. Before life needs you. Find it and just sit in it. The silence that is. Just “Be Still” (Psalm 46:10). Listen too. That part is important.
Mine generally comes well before daylight. While my house is still asleep. Realistically it is the only chance I have. Except perhaps late in the evening. But, a cluttered mind is like a rock. The peace you need just rolls right off of it.
A rested mind though. A rested mind is like a sponge. It can soak up peace. Then you can take it with you through your day. You’ll need it at some point. For yourself, to give to someone else.
Find some peace each morning. It helps even out the hectic. Don’t forge to listen. That part is important. I know, I said that twice.
Consider this your memo……find some peace.
Get in the boat. Do your part.
