One of the truest statements I have ever heard is this, “The only constant in life is change”.
Whether we want them to or not, the things within us, and the things around us…. just change.
Add God to your life, and things will change.
Remove God from your life, and things will change.
Keep sitting on the fence, with one foot in heaven and the other in hell, wondering which side you’ll fall on when you leave da erf…. and things will change, while you sit there getting splinters.
Looking at my own life….
Things that meant the world to me years ago, I could care less about right now, and things I could care less about years ago, mean the world to me right now…. because things change.
Things I loved and wanted to stay just like they were, look nothing like they once did, and things that I hated and thought would never change, are distant memories…. because things change.
Things just change, and there is nothing we can do about so much of it. That’s just life, but I can tell you this….
Nothing, and I mean nothing, has ushered in more wholesale change in my life, than accepting Christ as my Savior. (Read that twice)
Not only has it changed what is within me, but that change that happened within me, has changed what is around me, and I have learned this…
The only constant in this world might be change, but the biggest constant you will ever experience while you are in this world… is God.
Life can change in an instant, but God does not change, His promises do not change, His love for us does not change, absolutely NOTHING about God…. ever changes.
Given the constant change in the world around me, some I like and some I would like to send back, I am thankful that God is constant, and I am thankful for something else….
I am thankful I finally got off that fence and put both feet on the Heaven side, I just regret it took me so long to do it.
Get In The Boat. Do Your Part.
From Nose To Toes!
