I’m not a new year resolutions guy, never have been, although I did make a totally spontaneous decision on New Year’s Day 2017 that I still adhere to today.
That one single decision changed the course of my Faith walk and took me away from where I was, which was nonchalant mediocrity, to a place of consistent action and growth that has benefited me, as well as the people around me.
That’s what ’New Year’s resolutions” are right? An attempt to take us from where we are, to somewhere we want to be? To take us somewhere…. “Away From Here”?
Whatever your goals are for the coming year, I wish you luck in achieving them and I hope, in Christ, that December finds you far further down the road from your “here”, than you are today.
Luck is a worldly term. Hope is a biblical term. Hope in Christ while you are in this world, is a powerful combination.
A life lived in hope, based on the promises of Christ and expectation of Christ’s help, instead of the luck of this world, stands a far better chance at getting you…. away from “here”.
All things are possible, and you can move away from anywhere, with God’s help…. one day at a time.
Get In The Boat. Do Your Part.
Hope Over Luck…. From Nose To Toes!
